Caddo Shows its Pride with Beautification, Historic Preservation From planting flowers and building decorative stop sign mounts to capturing the stories of the town's elders and preserving its historic buildings, Caddo residents are always ready to step up and show their pride. The Town Restoration Association of Caddo (TRAC) promotes economic growth and enriches the town's quality of life through beautification and historic preservation. Nine TRAC members gathered in downtown Caddo in early February for the town’s first Clean Sweep Sunday. They spent almost two hours sweeping up leaves and trash and now meet on the first Sunday of each month to sweep, pick up trash, and maintain flower beds.

Mooreland Bearcat Pride Mooreland High School Head Basketball Coach and Assistant Football Coach John Hart (left) and Head Football Coach Kurt Myers show off the Oklahoma decals embroidered on their coaches shirts. The native Oklahomans with self-proclaimed "deep roots in the state" lead the Mooreland Bearcats to victory on the field and on the court. The football players wear the Oklahoma decal on the back of their helmets and the basketball team sport the decal on their uniforms. It's no wonder the Bearcat football team are District 1-A Champions this year! They've got the power of Oklahoma pride working for them. Go Bearcats! |
