Tulsa-based Architecture Firm Named best in the Nation to work for
November 12, 2008 -- The Tulsa World reports, Tulsa-based architecture firm Scott&Goble was recently named the best architecture firm to work for in the nation, according to a survey conducted by architecture and engineering consulting firm ZweigWhite.
The survey assesses a company's policies and employee satisfaction with those policies. Scott&Goble finished seventh in 2006 and fifth in 2007.
Founded in 1995, Scott&Goble employs 88 people and typically works on 200 projects at any moment. Scott&Goble's clients include Wal-Mart, Kohl's, Lowe's and Sports Authority.
Employees typically work in specific units for specific clients, but they're not walled off from other units, says the World. The company also has a giant meeting every Monday to share everything from what projects they're working on and specific accomplishments to wedding anniversaries and vacation photos.
Scott&Goble has recently built 17 Kohl's stores across the country to meet increased federal requirements for "green construction." |
